Being a concerned citizen I have a question to pose to someone. Since the election we now have an attorney on the council which has been very insturmental in the rewriting of the ambulance ordinace. So involved with the writing that I have to ask,
Where was the city attorney in all of this?????? Some time back, the last council meeting to be exact, our city attorney was fast asleep at the meeting. Is one to assume that our attorney is still sleeping?????
The major question, in light of the ambulance issue, is it time for the council to be looking for legal representation else where? It does not appear that we are getting our money’s worth with the current city attorney, espcially if we have to pay her to sleep.

Alica,
You made the statement in one of your posts that you wanted to thank people that included their names in a post. Can you start a thread (if that is the right term) getting opinions about that. This will be coming in as anon, more because I had a signon id that seemed to disappear (not sure if you excercise veto power!). I think an idea/opinion should rest on it’s own merit, not be deemed worthwhile or stupid based on the social status of the presenter. When you sign something, you tend to write more of what you think is politically correct and to your advantage, not what you actually think. My opinion anyway. You may be able to guess who everybody is, but I don’t have a clue.

At what point are you going to stop allowing slanderous crap on your blogs? Just lock the posts and move on. All they are is a personal attack on Jay, his staff, and his former staff, as well as numerous old attacks on RM folks. What is the point. Is the what you want to promote as the Brandon Blog? At minimum maybe you should force registration.
Brandoninfo.com and the brandon Blog have proven to be just another scumbag news source.
