In 2006, Brandon adults spent $130 million on retail shopping and dining. Of that, $65 million stayed in Brandon.*
It is great that such a high percentage stays in Brandon. We’ll all be glad that’s true when the snow is scraped off our streets this winter, because the sales tax we spend in Brandon is what helps pay for that snow removal.
What sorts of things would entice Brandon residents to put an even higher percentage of their spending into Brandon businesses?

I am very thankful for Sunshine/Lewis, but I’d give anything for a clothing/accessory store - even if it was a consignment store.
