Do you like Chinese food? Will you try out the new Chinese restaurant that is opening on Splitrock Boulevard later this month? It will be called Great Wall.
It is in the same building as McDonalds and Sinclair, et. al.

I love Chinese and I think this would be a great addition to Brandon.

HBFR, Would you (or anyone else) please email me at apthiele@argusleader.com, or call me at 331-2376?
I am writing a story about the new Chinese restaurant for the Brandon Valley Challenger, and I would like to include a comment from someone who likes to go out for Chinese food.
Thanks.

What a wonderful addition. I’d like to thank the proprieters for taking a chance on our wonderful city. I know my wife and I as well as our adult children will enjoy your restaurant. Seeing the variety is refreshing.

Blaine and Gail, save me a seat! I love Chinese and I’m glad to see someone investing in our community. We(Mike Schultz, Dennis Olson and I) spoke of the importance of a restaurant such as this several years ago. I’ll be there with chopsticks in hand. We haven’t done lunch in awhile Alica, interested?

I’ve been waiting over 7 years for Chinese closer than Sycamore and 26th street! Yes I’ll try it out.

T-O-P-P-L-E why must you always ride the coat tails of someone. Quit name dropping and get a life. You still act like you have some importance in this community.

Community Advisor….BLOW ME!! You have NEVER had any importance in this community. Who needs to get a life? I think we know…don’t we?
December 16th, 2007 at 11:32 pm
Who is this “community advisor” and why are they such a spineless coward as to post hateful comments anonymous?
December 17th, 2007 at 2:16 pm
The truth hurts sometimes! Thanks Roger and Merry Christmas.

You tell us “Community Advisor” if the “truth hurts.” Roger and many others have spoken the truth…you are a spineless coward who posts nothing but negative, hateful comments and do so anonymously because you have no courage, guts or honor. How about some more truth…what would you say to having your true identity presented on this blog based on the IP address you have been using? As always, I honestly don’t care what you say about me. I know what kind of a hateful, sad little person you are and your judgement day is coming. Try some smarmy little comment like, “Merry Christmas” to your maker when it comes time to answer for what you’ve done in life. In the meantime I will continue to tell the truth, share my opinion and NEVER hide behind some ridiculous alias. Also, thank you Roger for your support…unfortunetly jerks can’t be reasoned with. It’s obvious this person was picked-on as a child.

The most important thing here….do we know if its open yet? If not when will it open
December 18th, 2007 at 3:08 pm
Well T-O-P-P-L-E-D,
There you go again, name calling and dropping names. I’ll pull your bluff card and know the IP addresses do not show up if you don’t put in an e-mail box. I will continue to use my screen name as so many others do. Sorry I don’t need to put my name out there to feel important. As far as you telling the truth, yea when hell may freeze over. You still have not told the truth from our last debate, your charges? Please tell me something, what is “smarmy”? Hope you have Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you also!

Whoa, boys! This blog was simply about the new Chinese restaurant that’s coming to Brandon … The owner says he hopes to be open by Christmas. Just like Santa, it’s getting close. First one to see the lights on and the open sign out,let us know! We’re hungry!

Does anyone know when the opening is?
January 9th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
I spoke with the owners this evening (1/9). They are opening on Friday (1/11). See you there.

I have eaten there twice since Friday 1/11. Although things were a little slow the food was delicious. I am sure once they get settled in things will move much more smoothly. My 1 hope is that they will start delivering.
