Do you know Jake Meeker?

Jake Meeker died Monday morning in a car accident near Valley Springs. Did you go to school with him, or work with him?
He was known as a friendly young man who was always willing to help. He worked at the True Value in Brandon.
What are your memories of Jake?

If there was a picture I could tell you if I know him. I’ve gone to True Value for years and there’s always one young guy that’s been very helpful. And he’s quite good looking. I hope it wasn’t him that died.

I went to school with Jake for years and graduated from BVHS with him. Jake was one of the friendliest people I know. Everyone loved him. We will all miss him dearly.

I went to school with jake since kindegarden we even got babysat together before that at Betty Fosters. Jake was definately one of a kind. He was the friendliest most genuine person I know. Everybody loved Jake, he always had a smile for everybody he ran into. He will be truly missed by so many! This is so sad.

Jake and I were in the same Boy Scout troop he and i both got our eagle scouts. I also went to school with him. I also bought many things and got much advise from him at true value. See ya again some day man. peace

Jake was the most kind person I’ve ever known. I’ve never heard anyone ever talk bad about him. He was the kind of person who would be able to lighten the mood when it was down. I will miss him dearly.

I graduated from BVHS with Jake. Who didn’t love him? Every memory I have of him is with a smile on his face. He knew how to make us all laugh and smile with him.

Jake was a fantastic person, he is missed so much. I was in True Value about everyday and he was always so helpful and kind. Keep and Eye on Us Jaker!!! You are missed!
