Does anybody know how Russell Stough is doing? He is the man who was in the hunting accident in December when his dog stepped on his gun and it went off, shooting him in the arm. He had to have part of his arm amputated.
I hope he is recovering quickly. If you know how he is, please let us know. Thanks.

This came out from the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce today:
Russell Stough is a Chamber member (Midwest Truck Insurance) and we encourage you to show whatever support you can….
The Russell Stough Benefit
Russell Stough, 33-year old hunter from Brandon, was involved in a hunting accident 20 miles outside of Pierre, SD on December 14th, 2006. In the event of the accident he was taken to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center in Pierre and from there he was flown to the University Hospital in Omaha, Neb. The injury was so severe they had to amputate Russell’s right arm just above the elbow.
Since the injury is so severe he will need a prosthetic arm, along with many other expenses. There are a number of Brandon Residents that have volunteered to hold a benefit for Russ. The benefit will be held at the Brandon Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, February 3rd, 2007 at 5:30p.m. There will be Food, Silent Auction and Entertainment.
If you are unable to attend and wish to contribute, you can either visit a Wells Fargo Bank (acct # 168 835 6466) or Home Federal Bank. There is a Benefit Fund set up at both banks under The Russell Stough Benefit Fund.
As always, Russ enjoys receiving phone calls and cards. He can be reached at (605) 582-3087. His home address is 700 Garnet Circle Brandon, SD 57005.
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
The Russell Stough Benefit Committee
