Garages

Rats. The construction along Holly Boulevard at The Bluffs is a long line of garages. It’s going to be difficult to drive past them to and from work every day. I don’t mind the countryside being dotted with houses. But those long lines of garages, so close to the road, really block a nice view.
How do you feel about them?

Hopefully they’ll add some landscaping to block the obvious wall of garages. Evergreens and low ground cover would be very pleasing.
My question: Are the garages for homeowners or self storage units? Now there’s something to be concerned about.

I believe there was a story earlier about the homeowners upset at the plans for an apartment building.

I remember hearing that story as well. You would think that the homeowners would welcome an apartment building in that location. The garages/apartments will help with road noise and help seclude neighborhood houses from an increasingly busy highway.

True it will help with road noise, but it sure will block the view of anything from their picture windows. Also increase immediate local traffic, noise etc. I would think they would’ve know that the area was zoned multifamily?
