Library

January 22nd, 2013 by Alica

The Brandon library will celebrate 10 years soon. Do you ever use the library? If so, what do you use it for? The library offers many services

computer access

preschool storytime

books

magazines (both in paper and electronically)

community meeting room
Of course, the high school kids use the library every day.

Are there any changes you would like to see at the library?

I use the library a lot! i sometimes use the computers to print things, i get ebooks and print books. i love that because of my busy schedule most of the time i can look online and simply request the books i would like and then just pick them up when they are ready. the only thing that could make it better in my opinion would be for a bigger selection but this problem is fixed by the attached libraries and requesting online. the wait for requested books that are not already checked out is really good compared to some places. i think it is amazing they offer storytime for small children and class to teach people how to use their ereaders with the library catalog.

When we moved here I was happy to see there was such a nice Library to use.I love how it’s part of the Sioux Falls system and the employees are very helpful.

We use the library regularly for ebooks and paper books. The kids like to get children’s books and movies. I’m suprised at the large selection they have through thier library network.
