What do you think are Brandon Valley’s chances of getting into the state finals this season? The Lynx are 3-1 going into Friday’s game against Worthington, Minn., after shutting out the Brookings Bobcats 19-0 at Homecoming last week.
What Lynx action have you seen so far this season that has impressed you? What techniques should the Lynx work on to increase their skills?
Who do you think will be the team’s greatest condenter this season?

I am BIASED. I am a dad of a varsity football player.
We have a good team. We have a good senior and junior class of football players. These young men will finish the season strong and make the state playoffs again this year!!
We have a lot of ESD opponents and OG left to play this season. Obviously, OG will be the toughest game left on the schedule.
But, you play one game at a time (focus on that opponent)until you get to the end of the season.
The life lessons learned by participating in a team sport will be beneficial to all players for many years.
Good Luck Lynx !! See you in Worthington.
Our coaches are dedicated , energetic , and competitive. They will continue to work hard developing the team.

Aberdeen Central has a good QB. I hope the weatherman is correct. May the wind BLOW !!!!
See you at the last home football game for the regular season.
We might/should get a home playoff game.

The game Friday was one of those games that ALL players got to see some varsity action.
After a slow first quarter the Lynx went on to score 28 by half.
Next up are the OG knights. The LYNX play @ og. We need a HUGE crowd to turn out for the game. This will be our true
test to see where we are for the upcoming playoff season.
See you @ og.

Game On!! I believe it starts @ 7PM. The team needs to believe in themselves , play w/
intensity , and error free (less penalties).
The Argus (Stu Whitney) does not know anything about the Lynx. He is all about hyping
up the knights or anybody else who plays an ESD opponent.
The LYNX are up to the task!!! Be sure to get there early because parking is terrible.
GO LYNX !!

We are off to Huron tonight. The Tigers are 0 - ?? 25-30 for the last few seasons.
BUT, they did play Lincoln to the 4th quarter , almost upset Watertown and Yankton. So, this is no freebie. We are hoping that they go out and get their work done to get off the field.
Good Luck Lynx !! Hopefully we will stay dry and come home with the last regular season game win!!

31 - 6 win , no injuries (I think), home by 11:45pm , ALL PLAYERS GOT INTO THE GAME , # 5 seed going into the playoffs.
Great regular season w/ many accomplishments and successes.
The 07 team is more balanced versus 06. The 06 team had some fun playmakers (Moss and Mahone) but the 07 team is a blue collar type team. They all know they have to work and put out effort to have success.
Next game is Tuesday in Brandon.
If you want to see the playoff brackets go to SDHSAA.com under football.

The start of playoffs. I can’t wait for the game to start. The boy’s / young men have been practicing hard all season to get to this position.
We start the playoffs against Spearfish tonight @ 630pm. Spearfish is 3 - 5 for the season. We should fair pretty well but all opponents can create upsets so we have to focus on each individual game.
It is going to be a beautiful day for football. A lot better than to 20 mph rainy, windy weather in Huron.
Good Luck LYNX in the playoffs. You have the talent , skill , and coaching to win it all. You just have to have the CONFIDENCE in yourselves to belive you can WIN!!
We should have beat og and h2o. We could easily be unbeaten going into the playoffs. Roosevelt has a good defense but a challenged offense. As Yankton showed the football community Roosevelt can get BEAT.
Go LYNX !! We are proud of you.

I WILL BE BLOGGING ON THE OTHER HEADING OF LYNX PLAYOFFS:
We have the ability to win the championship. We must have the confidence to win the championship.
The players have come along way since the first game of the season. We are a very balanced team with many different scoring weapons. We can throw the ball deep or short. We can run the ball to the outside or take it up the middle.
I think with this many different options we have as good of a chance to win the whole title as anyone else.
The remaining games we have to play error free , can not give up easy points and get reasonable field position. If we can achieve some of those results we will continue winning.
I know 8PM is a late time to start a game but it sure would be nice to have a LARGE crowd on Monday. I think a lot of other communities are pulling for BVHS.
Good Luck LYNX !! Practice hard and Monday will be here very soon.
