It was a good feeling to have two people running for president, either of whom will be a huge improvement over the current POTUS. Prez Elect Obama will have his hands full with what he is inheriting. There seems to be a new hope, not only in this country, but around the world that the U.S. got it right and will be heading in a better direction than where we have been heading the last eight years. Obama and the congress will need to be careful to not overreach with their legislation or things could backfire in two to four years.

I think that Obama’s victory will be good for the country. He has an optimism and a spirit that Kennedy and Reagan both brought to the White House.

    God bless America!

Welcome to the USSA, United Socialist States of America.

  5. Maverick Moose Huner Says:

I think you are pretty safe in your paranoia about this country becoming socialist. A country where 1% of the population control 40% of the wealth and income is about as polar opposite of a socialist country as you can get. We have not seen this much disparity since the 1920’s. I think we are pretty safe.

    You betcha! Wink.

    It’s all good.

  8. 4Ever in Brandon Says:

The Dems are now in charge of Congress and now is the time for Pelosi and Reid to put up or shut up. No more blaming the Republicans for everything that goes sour.

It is still the USA. If we want to become Socialist, we have the right!

    I am a Socialist!

I do and I have no problem with it.

  13. Remote Says:

I would like to have a choice in how I spread MY wealth - not have someone dictate that I will and how I will spread MY wealth. I DO have a problem with it. People need to go out and obtain their OWN wealth.
