Senator Johnson

August 29th, 2007 by Alica

What was your reaction to Senator Tim Johnson’s speech last night? Did he move and speak as well as you hoped he would? Do you think he will recover fully? Do you think he’s ready to go back to work full-time in the Senate?

I am just GLAD to see Senator Johnson up and moving around.

He will hopefully have a long life after he retires some day(Whenever he decides). He will want and need his physical health to compliment his day to day living.

I was not sure of what to expect
yesterday. I just feel that if this happened to any of us we would hope the community would stand by us during our recovery period.

I will not make my decision on voting for his re-election until closer to election day. Senator Johnson has done a good job over the years. I can’t imagine that he will work very hard for us now just as I feel he as for many years.

Best Wishes for a continued recovery!!

To Todd: Thank you, and others who do, for putting your real name on your posts. Brandon isn’t such a big town yet that we can’t figure out who anonymous posters are, but still, it’s nice to know with whom we are conversing, especially when we are talking about ways to improve life in Brandon.

I was very pleased to see how Senator Johnson has improved. I am sure it must be a slow and frustrating process, but I am impressed with his determination and desire to be there for us South Dakotans. Also, it is wonderful to see such a loving family as the Johnsons. I wish Tim and his family the best in his road to recovery.
