Taco John’s

January 9th, 2007 by Alica

Yay! Taco John’s is open again. What do you think of the new place? There is less seating than before, but maybe the amount is now just right. How does the food compare to the way it tasted before? How does it compare to other Taco John’s stores in Sioux Falls? What do you think of the location, and the way it’s now in a strip mall with room for other businesses?

They have a driveway pretty close to the corner. Do you think that will present any traffic problems?

When I did the drive-through at the old building, my tires would always scrape on the curb as I turned the corner. Did yours? Do they now, or do you think the drive-through is easier to navigate? What is your overall impression of the new place?

I’ve been through the driveup a few times there now. For some reason, I sat in line an awful long time. I don’t know if the line crew are getting used to the new equipment or what it was. Maybe it just takes that long to make an Apple Grande. I don’t know.

Otherwise, I just want to remind the other businesses/customers that go in the strip mall to watch out while walking to their cars. Watch out for people going to the drive through coming off of Holly Blvd entrance.

I agree that the wait seems longer, but it is also getting better as time goes by. The drive-thru lane is wider, which is good. The food is as good as it always was.

I’m glad they reopened. It’s my favorite place to eat in town.

I really like the new restaurant. When they tore the old one down, it was nice to see it go since the inside was so filthy and greasy. I love the food, but eating there always made me feel like I needed a bath. It seemed like it took forever to get the new one built. What happened to all the workers in that time?

I don’t like the silly mexican music. It’s a taco place, not mexican dining. That can go. Just silly. But the internet is nice. I use the wireless internet a lot.

The entrance is kind of bizarre. You have to walk around the building to find it.
