Too much on Holly Boulevard?

August 23rd, 2007 by colson

Construction on Holly Boulevard made the trip to school interesting for many Brandon Valley students this morning.
It’s hard to change at this point, but do you think as the city continues to grow that city planners will regret having so much development on one street in town especially three of the districts schools?

That train has LEFT the station.

No kidding. They wanted a 5 lane for the “safety” of our kids. How is it safe to increase the traffic on the street with 3 schools? They won’t even stop the semi traffic on Holly and they know they’re dodging the weigh scale at the Minnesota border.

Is it always going to be 20 mph? And holy cow, is there enough signage? I’d be willing to bet there isn’t a bicyclist around that will stop at every single intersection stop sign on the bike path part! Ridiculous. That is a waste of money. Can you get a ticket for not stopping?
