Your dream car

Have you already owned your dream car, or is it still just part of your dreams?
Every car I’ve owned has been a used car, usually a junker, that was the best I could afford at the time. As such, I haven’t had the luxury of being too picky.
When I turned 50, I figured that for once in my life, I would have a vehicle that was my own choice. I’d seen true fire painting on one of those car shows on television, and I knew that’s what I wanted on my dream car. But what make and model?
Being fond of a little quirkiness, I tried to think what kind of car would be the funniest to be painted with fire. It didn’t take long to decide on a Volkswagon Beetle.
It’s my mid-life crisis car. We call it “Hot Flash.”
Do you have a vintage car in your garage that you hope to someday restore? Did you drive the best muscle car in your high school class? Is your SUV your pride and joy? Are you saving up for that street rod? What’s your dream car?

I had mine back in the 60’s. A 1966 Old 442 convertable. What a babe magnet. I wish I had it back. I found that they only made about 240 of these. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Impact Kustomz, near Tea, painted the fire onto the car. 271-4142.
They recently borrowed the car back for a couple days, and it was part of their booth at the Big Boy Toy Show at the Arena. That was cool.

Had mine in high school. Wish my Camaro hadn’t seen better years like it did, but I was young and didn’t take care of it like I should have. Finally got rid of it in 1999, after it sat in the grove at my uncle’s farm for 15 years. I wonder whatever happened to it?

I like the name as much as the car!! I soooooo relate. I’m not sure I have a dream car, although I’ve always thought a convertable would be fantastic. In high school I had to borrow the “family car” a yellow VW Rabbit!
My first car was after I got married, (1982) It was a 1963 red Ford Falcon station wagon with 3 on the column. It didn’t last long however because when I got pregnant I couldn’t adjust the seat so I could accomodate my belly and reaching the pedals!
